It’s Brain Injury Awareness Month

Help Promote Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Research Initiatives and Advocacy by getting active!

Get up and get dressed in your race day gear and hit the treadmill, streets or trails for the 4th Annual Neurotrauma 5K (3.1 miles) Fun Run/Walk/Roll in support of the National Neurotrauma Society’s (NNS) education, advocacy and research initiatives.

Register as an individual, join a team or create your own team! You can even register your family and friends- what a great activity to do together during Brain Injury Awareness Month!

Don’t fret if you are not interested in burning calories. We also offer a “Good Intentions” option for those who wish to support the Society without lacing up – just sign up, sit back and relax!

Event Details

Register using the link below; registration is open now. You can register and run/walk/roll any time during the month of March. The cost is $25 for adults (>18y) and $10 for kids (<18y).

You can also create and join a team! The only requirement is that a TEAM consists of at least 5 individuals. Just enter the team name in the space provided when registering so you can be identified as a team member. Once you register you will be sent a race bib by email that you can add your name / team and print out at home or office.

If you are interested in competing, or just bragging, we encourage you to use an app (like Strava, MapMyRun or FitBit) to track your distance and time. Once finished just submit a screen shot of your finish time and email at [email protected] The deadline for submitting finish times for competition is 5:00pm PST on April 1st.

We also encourage you to email photos. Please note that these photos will be used for promotion of this event. Running times will be posted daily on social media and weekly on the NNS home page at: www.neurotrauma.org

Someone you know post a faster time? Don’t worry...there is no limit to the number of times you can sign up…but you must pay each time you register.
